First observations 7/2/06

7/10/06 The chair has fallen out of favor of late. Weight ~7 lb 4 oz. Cry added to website.
7/11/06 New Pictures, including Red Sox Nation passport photo and first trip to Central Park.
7/16/06 Chair back in favor. Kate hungry all the time. Weight - 8 lb 2 oz. Tansy more interested.
7/24/06 A big day!! For the first time, drank from a bottle (fed by Dad for the first time) and played with her
toys!
7/29/06 Weight 9 lb 4 oz. Will she have to leave the welterweight division?
Kate seems to enjoy watching "24"
8/28/06 Weight 11 lb 8 oz. Nearly out of stage 1 diapers. Laughs (still cries); smiles and likes to play the
"stick out your tongue game" and "boop game". More interested in gym. Appetite remains strong.
9/22/06 Trip to Botanical Garden. Ate outside for the first time. Enjoyed the art.
10/06 Weight 14 lb 14 oz. Now able to grasp her toys. Uses stroller (rather than bassinet). Almost too big
for the Miracle Blanket. Stands with help. Likes trying to stand and sit up. Begins to play in jumper and
with turtle aquarium. Does baby yoga exercises with Mom. Enjoys being read Dr. Seuss. Traveled to
Boston. Dressed as a pumpkin for Halloween. Enjoys going to the Met
11/06 Sits up in boppy and bumbo chair. Begins to play with exersaucer (“her office”), rattles, stuffed
animals. Attacks people’s noses! Crazy licking from Tansy! Likes to do burping dance on Dad’s lap.
Visited Xin’s house and played with another baby for the first time. Outgrew miracle blanket. Relaxed at
the Grand Central Station bar after Christmas shopping. Eats four times a day
3/07 Food! Likes sweet potatoes best. Loves both dancing and walking. Graduated to next level car
seat. Got sick for the first time (but got over it nicely). Plays peekaboo (seems to be pretty good at it).
5/07 Walks on her own (~10 ft maximum). Seems to recognize sentences like "where's Tansy?".
Music classes are mostly a success (she loves the teacher). Still not such a huge fan of grownup
food. Loves to be places she's not allowed. Invented a new game (the up/down game).
